The Grand Canal long about 3800 meters, is the main waterway of the city. It divides into two parts the old town starting from Piazzale Roma and finishing in St. Mark's Basin.
Making a tour of about 50 minutes with departure and return on the same point along the Canal, onboard you can admire magnificent palaces that are reflected on water.
The buildings facing the canal, now institutional offices, museums or hotels, represent the well-being of the Republic of Venice.
At the Gran Canal ending you will ha ve a mignificent views of St. Mark's Squar. Then the tour will continue along the Giudecca Canal, passing in front of San Giorgio Island and then switch between small channels to start the journey along the Grand Canal from Piazzale Roma.
During the tour our driver will give you some information you might need, but an additional guide is recommended for demanding people.
